Colourful!

So these nails are probably the most colourful ones I've done so far :D I don't really know how I came up with these, I just wanted to use alot of different colours. So basically as you can see the colour goes from one nail to the other.
After these had dried I used bm 20, I did have problems with this design though, because the black I used smudged on the plate every single time, even if I rolled over the design once when it's not a possibility that I smudged it by rolling a bit squint. There was probably some unevenness in the design, however I mostly managed to clean up the smudges.

Frenchies

Yaaay, finally I have no more piano lessons so I can start growing my nails a bit more! :D sorry, just a bit excited cause I keep on having to file my nails semi short before piano lessons. I haven't actually told the teacher I'm gonna quit because I know he'll be disappointed but I'll try and pluck up the courage to do it soon... :D So in my opinion my nails were a tiny bit too short for a french manicure but it still turned out looking fine, I also think basic french is a bit boring so I added tiny rhinestones in the middle. I used this french manicure nail set by The Color Workshop which I got as a Christmas present. The white polish was already dried out though so I used Wet'n'Wild's french white cream for that. The look is pretty simple to create, first I used a strengthening nail polish for the base and then painted my nails with the beige nail polish in the set, you can also decide to replace the beige with a pink or just skip the beige completely and have your natural nail colour which I actually prefer, here I used the beige though. Then paint on the white tips and on top of that a coat of a lightish pink nail polish should suffice, I love these kinds of pinks because they soften any nail design you have underneath and also mistakes won't be so noticeable.

Oriental

So I this design reminded me of a western/oriental style :) I couldn't get the pattern to go well along the edges of my nails so most of the nails didn't look that nice :/ Especially my pinky looks horrible, I don't know how I managed to screw it up so bad, well... better luck next time!
For the red I used L'oreals Laquiresist no. 106, and on top wet'n'wild's french white creme with bm10

Pink'n'dots

I wanted to do a cute set of nails so I though pink with white dots would be exactly that :) I really loved these nails! They were probably one of my favourites I've ever done, the only problem was that my nails were a bit too long for the pattern so it didn't completely cover my whole nail up to the top so I had to stamp the top again, and it was pretty hard to align the dots so the top of the nails often came out a bit funny looking. So watch out for this, people with long nails :D again the lighting is a bit bad, I took the pictures from a bad angle I suppose. So.... for the base I used a random pink nail polish, it's brand is in Russian so I have no idea what it says :D However, I posted a picture a while back of all the nail polishes I bought when I was in Russia, so you can check it out if you want to, it's the bright pink with the pink cap. For the dots I used Wet'n'wild's white french creme, the plate was bm 19.

Love themed

So I made a set of nails using the different love themed images from various plates. I first used a black base and printed on top with white. However the nail polish I used didn't work for all the images, so after I did these I kept them for a few days and then did my nails again this time using a white base, and using a dark pink nail polish which i've found transfers all the images very well on top.
Here are the nails with the black base. I used Wet'n'Wilds black creme, and on top I printed the images with Wet'n'Wilds French White Creme. I've generally noticed that this white nail polish works well with the full-nail  and bigger images, because it often hasn't worked if i've tried the smaller images. The plates I used were no's. 02, 09 and 11.

Here are the nails with the white base. Sorry I only have one picture, and even that one picture is bad cause the lighting is bad :/ I already took these off so I can't take any new pics... But yeah, I used Wet'n'Wild once again for the base, and on top I used a brand called Depend, no. 05. This nail polish works very well for all designs I've tried so far, I will probably go buy more of these nail polishes by this brand, I don't know if this is only in Finland or if they have them abroad too, but this nail polish I highly recommend, it's also pretty cheap compared to other nail polishes, if I remember correctly it was around 4 euros. The plates I used for the images in the picture were 02 and 09. On other nails I also used the heart images from plates no. 03 and 08, however the pictures of these nails were so blurry that I didn't post them here.

Turquoise Leaves

So here are the nails I mentioned in the previous post, the ones I did because I disliked the earlier ones. So here they are, sorry I was in such a hurry that I didn't have time to clean up the edges of my nails but I personally don't think it's that bad ;P So I started off with Golden Rose no. 217, and then printed the white leaves on top with Wet'n'Wild's French White Creme, it didn't stamp on to all the nails perfectly, but well enough in my opinion, I'm not really the perfectionist type. Hope you enjoyed, thanks for reading! :)

Red tiger stripes

So I was in a major hurry ot get my nails done before I went off to my boyfriends family party thing, so these did not come out as I had planned, ok, some people might like these but personally I didn't really, I took them off and did my nails again (in even more of a hurry! :D) so i'll post about them next.
So first I started off by using sponging, I painted my nails yellow first, with Ruby Kisses, Yellow Bikini, then I sponged over 2/3 of the nail with orange, Sexy Feet, and then sponged the tips with L'oreal's LaquiResist. I don't know if i'm using sponging as the right term because i'm using it as a verb but oh well, just bare with me! :)
I then used Wet'n'Wilds Black creme to do the tiger stripes, using plate no. 16. I only took a picture of these three nails instead of the usual four, since I first tried to print white flowers, unsuccessfully, so it didn't look that nice... Well these aren't that bad, but they were not right for the occasion since it was a very pretty, sunny day and I was wearing a flowery skirt ;P

Swirls

So I chose to try out this swirly pattern on plate no. 19 which looked interesting. Since I decided to use a light green pattern for the base colour and white on top the pattern wasn't very visible, but good enough, especially in the right lighting.

Sorry I didn't bother to clean up my nails/cuticles before I took the image but they don't look as bad as they sometimes do after i've done my nails :D So the light green is again Sexy Feet Divage, and the white is Wet'n'Wild's French white cream. And as I earlier said, the plate was bm 19. You're gonna have to stick with me for a while since I'm still testing out the plates and nail polishes so I'm sticking to the larger images which are more simple, I'll start doing more creative and complicated nail designs probably during the summer when I can let my nails grow and I actually have alot of time since I don't have much school work! :)
