Flowers and cupcakes!

Sorry, my posts are getting rarer and rarer, it's just that now school has started up again I've been busier with homework and stuff, so I don't have as much time to do my nails as during the summer :/
Anyways here I TRIED to do a sort of scotch pattern, but failed miserably as you can see from the pic below where I tried it on my thumb XD so I just decided to print a few designs in white :) (the cupcakes are so cute! :)) the green stripe was made just by using sponging :)

Here I finally dared to try the flower pattern (done by hand) since they're very pretty and cute :D
Here's how I started off, I just used the nail polish brush to do random splodges on the nail
Now the flowers came out OK.... i guess :D It's just that first of all they smudged, BAD(!) when I added on the top coat :D and second of all, I just found out that I've developed an over sensitivity to caffeine! Which is not nice because I love energy drinks :( So I was drinking an energy drink before I did my nails, which resulted in me having veeeery shaky hands, which naturally isn't good for when your trying to do your nails, so please forgive me for the flowers coming out messy! Next time I'll be careful to not drink an energy drink before I do my nails, or actually at all because an over reaction to caffeine does not feel nice :D
I'm gonna be trying these flowers out again soon (when my hands aren't shaking like crazy!) so I hope they come out a bit better :)

Polka dots on yellow + bricks on white

Yeah I cracked my middle finger's nail pretty bad :/ It looked so short and wierd compare to the others that I put a fake nail on top, this was the closest one to see through I had :P It looks much bigger than the rest of my nails but it's better than having one reeeally short nail!
The first part is easy, just paint on the diagonal stripe across your nail.
I then used bm 19 to do the polka dots, I covered the part of the nail that i didn't paint because I didn't want the polka dot pattern on that part of the nail.
I then just added these flakes one by one, just using my fingertip and putting a small drop of see through anil polish on the bottom of the flake before pressing it onto the nail.
I think these came out really nice, although they did look nicer in real life :/ I got loads of compliments from everyone which was nice :)
Here I basically used the same diagonal stripe idea as in the last nails.
I just put tape over half the nail and used bm 10 to do the block shapes.
Then I just painted a diagonal line across where the black ends with glittery gold nail polish. I managed to smudge the design once again, although I was really careful! It seems I never succeed :D

Leopard print on gold foil + purple flowers

I have so much of these foils that I thought it would be about time to use them again :D This gold came out pretty good, although i knew that once I put on the topcoat it would crinkle and loose most of the shine :/ But I'd rather put top coat on and have it last longer than the foil fading in a day :D

And here you go, the leopard print didn't come out as well as last time but that might also be because of the bright foil underneath :D

Sorry for the messyness, I can never be bothered to clean up the cuticles, and just pick off the polish on the next day when it's dried :D Gives me something to do during the boring lessons in school ;D
I just used a toothpick to do these dots, I was supposed to try much more complex flowers but I tried one and it turned out terrible, so these were a little bit easier to do XD

Three French Manicures!

This first frenchie was really random, I just wanted to do a something with glitter and used a blue glittering nail polish I have
I then just decided to add tiger stripes, I liked the result, although the blue was a bit too dark for the black lines :D
This actually reminds me of a valentines french manicure :)
I just painted a stripe on top of the white french manicure with clear nail polish and stuck it in a pink glitter pot :D
The hearts were a cute addition :D

This last french manicure I like the most, it's very pink and cute - just what i like :D
You cant really see them in this picture, they can be seen a little better in the next pic, but I added these circular flakes all over the pink part (you can see them in a pic below). I just painted over the pink with clear nail polish and used my finger to stick them on top of the wet nail polish. Then I just added a few hearts and rhinestones which you can see below
